He is risen! Happy Easter to my fellow Christians, especially those here at Central Park, and peace and goodwill to those of other faiths. Together, let’s celebrate the hope of the season with solidarity and renewed confidence. The important message of the day? Do not be afraid. We are not alone.
Quite obviously, we live in a deeply wounded world of fear and doubt. It often appears uncaring, unforgiving, cruel, and bereft of second chances. But Easter offers the assurance that the many difficulties and challenges that threaten to overwhelm us will be overcome, if only we do our part.
The risen Christ, in His profound love, makes second chances possible so that we may experience peace, atonement, new life, redemption and a spiritual rebirth. We embody the fullness of His love when we seek reconciliation over vengeance, presence over desertion, peace over hostility, and forgiveness in the face of antagonism and resentment.
I am grateful to live in this community, to share in its rebirth, to contribute to its growth and prosperity. That’s why I’ve created this new webpage on my real estate and community centered website, to counter some of the negativity directed towards us. I collectively stand shoulder to shoulder with each of you as we exercise responsible stewardship in the pursuit of equity, security, inclusivity, human dignity and empowerment for all of our neighbors.
Before you leave, I invite you to click the links in the right sidebar, or here to check out my new Central Park Residences Page and the Central Park Forum.
Thanks and blessings to you all.
Bill,
