      The Brady Theater

     Completed in 1914, the historic Brady Theater was originally designed as a municipal auditorium and convention hall.  Over the years, The Brady has hosted some of the greatest stars of stage, screen and television.     

 

 

        The BOK Center

     Designed by world famous architect Cesar Pelli, the BOK Events Center is Tulsa's state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue.  The 18,041 seat facility is host to major concerts, family shows, ice shows, and other world class entertainment.

 

 

        ONEOK FIELD

     Situated on a seven acre tract adjoining the historic Greenwood District, downtown Tulsa's sparkling new ONEOK FIELD is now home to the AA Tulsa Drillers of the Texas League.  Opening of the facility in the spring of 2010 marked another major step in the revitalization of downtown Tulsa.  

 

      The Cains Ballroom

     Built in 1924, historic Cain's Ballroom is considered by many artists as one of the top performance venues in the world. As the Home of Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys from 1935 to 1942, the ballroom was especially significant for popularizing a new sound of western music called western swing, a form of country and western that combined  jazz, hillbilly, boogie, blue, big band swing, rumba, mariachi and jitterbug music. 

 

 

 Tulsa Convention Center

     Completed in 1964, the Tulsa Convention Center recently underwent massive renovations and additions which have transformed the campus facilities into a state of the art convention center featuring Oklahoma's largest ballroom.  The Tulsa Convention Center includes not only the ballroom but an 8,900 seat arena, Meeting Rooms, Conference and Assembly Halls, ample parking and a myriad of nearby hotels and entertainment options, not to mention the new and world class 18,000 seat BOK Center, just down the street.   

 

 

 

Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame

     The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame was created by the Oklahoma Legislature in 1988 and relocated a few years ago into what was formerly the Tulsa Union Depot.  The historic building was entirely renovated to meet the Jazz Hall's needs, including an extraordinary photo exhibit of Oklahoma jazz musicians, interactive kiosks, the Great Performance Hall, VIP Suite, recording studio, music library, gift boutique and band room. 

 

 

Tulsa Performing Art Center

     The Tulsa Performing Arts Center was designed by Minoru Yamasaki, who also designed the former World Trade Center in NYC.  It house four theaters, a studio space, and a large reception hall.  Year around performances draw patrons from all over the region to sample local, national and international talent.

     The PAC is the permanent home of many of Tulsa's nationally recognized performing arts organizations, including the Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, Theatre Tulsa, American Theatre Company and others.

 

 

 

 

             Tulsa Ballet

     Tulsa Ballet was founded in 1956.  The artistic mission of the Company has remained constant throughout the years. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Marcello Angelini, Tulsa Ballet has brought unprecedented recognition to Tulsa by developing a reputation for innovative ideas and great artistic achievements. 

     Tulsa Ballet tours each year, with recent destinations including the Sintra Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, the Belgrade Dance Festival in Serbia, the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, Croatia, the International Ballet Expo in Seoul, South Korea and at The Joyce Theater in New York and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

 

 

 

            Tulsa Opera  

     The spirit, drive and fierce sense of pride of those who made Tulsa boom into an important city rich in commerce and industry also encouraged and sustained a rich cultural heritage, leading to the formation of the Tulsa Opera.  Today, Tulsa Opera, the 18th oldest opera company in North America, produces three grand operas each season, and has been named one of America’s top 10 favorite regional opera companies by Opera News magazine.

 

 

   Tulsa Symphony Orchestra 

     Founded in 2005, the unique concept of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra has gained national attention as a number of other professional orchestras search for a practical alternative to the traditional structure.  The foundation of TSO is a business model for orchestral governance that involves musicians at every level of operation as artists in the concert hall, Executive Musicians on the office staff and as active, contributing members of the Board of Directors and every functioning committee. 

 

 

   Tulsa Oratorio Chorus   

     The Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, organized in 1992, is comprised of very talented, dedicated, volunteer musicians, with a roster currently exceeding well over 100 members, who have joined together to share their love of great choral music and the art of its performance.  According to their mission statement, the TOC elevates the human condition through quality performances of significant choral works to audiences in Tulsa and surrounding region as well as participation in international choral festivals abroad.  

 

 

          Theatre Tulsa  

     Since 1922, Theatre Tulsa has been a part of the culture of Tulsa.  Theatre Tulsa and its supporters share a rich legacy of bringing music, laughter, and drama to the people of Tula and providing a venue for the many talents of the Tulsa performing arts community.

 

 

   American Theatre Company 

      In the late 1970's, ATC became the only nationally recognized resident professional theatre in Oklahoma.  After 39 seasons of offering shows ranging from Hamlet to Rocky Horror, Bye, Bye Birdie to The Boys in the Band, and Romeo and Juliet to Driving Miss Daisy The American Theatre Company continues to strive to present great stories well told.
